Create

My home teachers just shared this with me and I absolutely loved it . It is a beautiful message that reminded me of my divine potential. There is so much I can do. I don't want to waste my time belittling my talents and putting myself down by thinking I don't have anything of worth that I can contribute to this beautiful world. I love that each of us are individuals with our own special talents. We can all create and make a difference. I LOVE this.

Desert Star

I absolutely love plays, especially musicals and I love food so when my good friend Emily invited me to a dinner theater show at the Desert Star Playhouse in Murray of course I said yes. Live entertainment is fantastic! The play was a parody of the movie Back to the Future, they put a Utah spin on it and just made me laugh. I remember watching this movie with my family when I was younger, I thought it was so great, so it was really fun to see this play. The atmosphere was great and I loved that the actors interacted with the audience as well. I will definitely see another play at the Desert Star.
I'm so glad my friend Emily invited me, I haven't seen her in forever so we had a lot to catch up on. I just love getting together with old friends. Thanks Emily!

The Official Process is About to Begin

I just got the official contract for teaching in Taiwan. I read through it and I am so excited! I go in on Monday to give them the signed copy of the contract and to start some my visa application, work permit and whatever else I will need to fill out before I leave. It should be fun. I will be leaving sometime during the last week of June. It seems so far away and so soon at the same time. I'll keep you all updated on the process. I can't believe I'm going to Taiwan!

Belated New Year

First of all just let me state for the record that blogging more was not on my list of new years resolutions, so even though it's been too long since I've posted I haven't messed up any goals I've had for the new year. That being said I recently had a friend encourage me to blog more so that the adventures and misadventures that make up my life can be shared with my family and friends. There have already been some changes in my life and more planned for the upcoming year and I really do want to be able to have something to remind me of all those great and probably some not so great events that happen during this year. So this is me officially putting blogging on my list of things that I want to do this year.
As for my other new years goals they include going to the gym at least three times a week(so far so good), keeping up on my journal writing, going to the temple at least once a month, and learning some Chinese phrases before I leave for Taiwan. I do also have a crazy goal to go sky diving before I leave this summer.
I started off the new year celebrating my 24th birthday and moving out of my house into an apartment in Provo. Turning 24 was kind of crazy and moving out was definitely an adjustment but so far it's been a good  and I'm really looking forward to 2011.
